Our Lady of the Way will open at the beginning of the 2018 school year with classes from Prep to Grade 2. We will accommodate students at St Patrick’s Primary School in Kilmore, until our new school facilities are completed in time for the 2019 school year.

The school has been planned for a student population of up to 500 students.

Our Lady of the Way is located in the Mitchell shire, in the St Patrick’s Parish of Kilmore and will support students from Wallan, Wallan East, Hidden Valley, Beveridge and Darraweit Guim. Our enrolment policy can be found here.

You can download the enrolment form here. You will need to complete this form and return it (along with birth certificate, baptism certificate, immunization record and proof of address) via email – admin@ourladywallan.catholic.edu.au.

Our Lady of the Way Primary School will be open to all families who are supportive of the Catholic mission and traditions of the school.

Fees have not yet been decided but are expected to be in line with other Catholic primary schools.

Our Lady of the Way is a primary school in the St Patrick’s Parish of Kilmore, where priority will be given for entry into Assumption College. Enrolments are subject to the Secondary College’s enrolment process. Priority is given to Catholic students in Catholic schools.

Our Lady of the Way has been allocated our own classrooms within St Patrick’s. Our teaching staff and students will operate from this area. Playtimes will be enjoyed together with St Patrick’s students.

All enrolment applications for St Patrick’s and Our Lady Catholic Schools will be assessed centrally against the priority list. We will of course work with each family in the interests of the student.

The plans for the new school site include modern classroom and learning facilities, indoor and outdoor play areas, the existing church building to ensure some heritage of the area remains, as well as a welcoming entry area where parents can enjoy a cuppa at drop-off and pick-up times without distracting students.

Provisions for future Early Learning facilities have been allocated and will go ahead based on demand.

Yes, we are planning to have before and after school care.
